Mirjam Mol is Director of Investigations. This directorate is responsible for investigating, for example, labour exploitation, human trafficking, healthcare fraud, labour market fraud and large-scale social security fraud.
The Labour Authority's investigative duties are carried out under the authority of the Public Prosecution Service. Mirjam has been working for the Labour Authority since 2024.
She previously worked as a public prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Service.
She worked at the National Office for Serious Fraud, Environmental Crime and Asset Confiscation in Rotterdam, and has served as Chief Public Prosecutor on Sint Maarten and as Coordinating Investigating Officer on Curaçao.
She has gained extensive experience within the Public Prosecution Service in combating serious organised crime and white-collar crime.
Mirjam Mol studied Dutch law at Tilburg University.
