Marijke Kaptein is Director Supervision Staffing Market at the Netherlands Labour Authority. She focuses primarily on supervision through programmes that tackle labour market fraud. She also concentrates on the role of senior managers within organisations and the question of how they can mitigate the risks that we focus on in our supervision.
Marijke's previous roles include Managing Director of the Financial Supervision Agency, Director at the Financial Intelligence and Investigation Department (FIOD), strategic adviser to the police, and team leader and public prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Service.
Marijke Kaptein studied law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained a Master's degree in Public Management at the University of Twente.
