Research shows that unsafe behaviour often plays a role in accidents. A culture of healthy and safe working practices can only be achieved if employers and employees actively work together to achieve this. Exemplary behaviour by managers and mutual pointing out of unsafe behaviour are of great importance in this regard.
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, in collaboration with the business community and academia, has compiled an inventory of tools that organisations can use to create a culture of healthy and safe working practices. These tools have been bundled into a 'toolbox'.
The box offers tools in 4 categories that employers and employees can use to promote healthy and safe working practices.
